About us
Girls Inspired Development Network (GIDN) operates on the belief that women and girls in Africa should not be limited in discovering and achieving their full potential. GIDN seeks to foster a world in which African girls and women can break glass ceilings by aspiring to be whatever they purpose to be. From 2021 to 2022, Girls Inspired directly reached 11,050 through its programs for women and girls in marginalized communities.

GIDN is a legally registered non-governmental and non-profit organization, with a vision to inspire and equip young girls and women across Africa with the right tools and resources to succeed. We are passionate about changing the world for African girls. Our commitment to delivering high-impact programs for girls/women across Africa ensures that we have measurable programs with high rewards. Though founded in 2012, Girls Inspired was legally registered in 2016 with the Corporate Affairs Commission with registration details: CAC/IT/NO 93565

Advocacy has served as a measure to raise public awareness of women's and girls' rights. For us at Girls Inspired, we ensure to use our social media as a tool to raise our voice against child marriage, forced marriage, marital rape, domestic violence, degrading widowhood practices....
