Girls Inspired Development Network (GIDN) operates on the belief that women and girls in Africa should not be limited in discovering and achieving their full potential. GIDN seeks to foster a world in which African girls and women can break glass ceilings by aspiring to be whatever they purpose to be. From 2021 to 2022, Girls Inspired directly reached 11,050 through its programs for women and girls in marginalized communities.

GIDN is a legally registered non-governmental and non-profit organization, with a vision to inspire and equip young girls and women across Africa with the right tools and resources to succeed. We are passionate about changing the world for African girls. Our commitment to delivering high-impact programs for girls/women across Africa ensures that we have measurable programs with high rewards. Though founded in 2012, Girls Inspired was legally registered in 2016 with the Corporate Affairs Commission with registration details: CAC/IT/NO 93565

OUR FOOTPRINT ON THE SDG'S

GIDN program aligns with five goals of the SDG which are goal 3,4,5,8 and 17.

Goal 4: Quality Education

Goal four is the heart that connects to other global goals of GIDN’s objectives. Girls Will Rise Mentorship Hub has educated and mentored over 6,050 vulnerable and marginalized adolescents girls on body anatomy and sexuality, vital societal issues, STEAM Education and digital skills.

Goal 5: Gender Equality

GIDN reached out to women across the six geopolitical zones empowering them on the need to prioritize their gender rights. educating them on the VAPP law.

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being

Our Inspire Hope project as successful provided medical care support to one hundred and fifty individuals providing them with medical check-ups, Malaria drugs, cancer care, optical and dental care.

Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

Through our She Thrives project women have placed in jobs, become entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and have improve their own businesses.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals

GIDN has successfully collaborated and partnered with corporate companies and organizations to achieve the goals and objective of the foundation.
