There are no limits to what a girl child can become when provided with the right information and support. Girls Will Rise Mentorship Hub is part of our educational program at GIDN where we guide and direct vulnerable young girls about their body safety & rights, creating safe spaces, menstrual hygiene, and career paths.
In the last 24 months, Girls Inspired has provided mentorship support to over 6,050 girls across various schools and communities in Lagos, Edo, and Abuja.
Of the girls we’ve reached so far, 150 have been trained on practical self-defense skills, over 1500 were supported with menstrual hygiene products, 500 received safety workbooks, over 1,025 received insights on STEAM, we engaged over 3,000 on international safety signals, boundary setting, and body autonomy to reduce their vulnerability to sexual violence that is commonly evident in teenage girls.
