Clare Henshaw is the Founder of Girls Inspired. She is a committed social worker and fierce advocate for the rights of grassroots women and girls. She has worked under the umbrella of Girls Inspired Development Network (Africa) since 2012 and has championed empowerment programs targeted at benefitting young women and girls. Clare believes that gender equality and women’s empowerment fall squarely within human rights issues that must be promoted and guaranteed.
Clare Holds an MBA from Lagos State University, A B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Benin as well as a Diploma in Data Processing from same University. She works to ensure that GIDN through its various programs works indefatigably to highlight, challenge and proffer solutions to all forms of stereotypes attributed towards girls/women as well as all forms of discrimination and violence against girls and women. She is married with two lovely daughters.
